Armenian Adolescents for Ecology project, in line with HSBC Group policy, financed by HSBC and coordinated by WWF Armenia, was implemented by Armenian Women for Health and Healthy Environment (AWHHE) NGO.
One-year and 30 thousand U.S. dollars to the total cost of this project aimed to raise the awareness on ecological problems through teenagers, hence engaging their families, schools and communities.
35 schools in Yerevan and 6 regions of Armenia with 59 teachers and 1771 schoolchildren were involved in the project. On the basis of WWF’s "One Planet Lifestyle" Pocket Guide the Guidelines in Armenian were developed and later on approved by the Ministry of Science and Education as an educational curriculum for use in secondary schools.
Also, through the project, the website www.ecoyouth.info was established.
The essay competition on the topic of “Your Environmental Problems and Possible Options of Their Solutions" for schoolchildren was organized.
The authors of top three best essays were announced winners and were awarded money prizes for implementation of their environmental sustainability ideas.

5. "One Planet Lifestyle" Guidelines were published as an educational curriculum for use in secondary schools.
